I do my own capping. Now with digital comics it's easy peasy. But you could always get digital copies the sneaky way and just print screen and plop it right into photoshop. Also the first three or four preview pages are released per issue, if that'll do. I usually delete as I go, but I could send you what I have, if that'll help.
:D I'd love to check out what you cap as you go on, yeah. I'm reading it in paper form. I guess I could try to figure out how to find it digitally. *lazy* I just googled and found a couple of screencapping logs on tumblr, and started to follow them. Hooray for iconing! I noticed this comm has grown! holy cow, 200 people! Good job!
Paper copies isn't practical for me at all, and then I'm also not interested in keeping single issues laying around. So for now I buy digitally and am eagerly awaiting when a shiny hardback becomes available. I do like me some heft ;) Plus Image is now selling digital directly which means the creators get a little bit more of the cut, and also I own the digital copy and can do whatever the heck I want with it woo.
I'm going outside to sit and read until the sun goes down or the mosquitoes go on a warpath, which ever comes first. But I can pm you some links once I get back for sure!
Really, 200? Wow. I rarely check that stuff. Would be kinda neat if it reflected in the actual activity tho. Maybe I should go for another request fest soon...
scans_daily is also good to find scans for certain comics, though again, not complete issues. But if you're looking for a specific character, it's usually helpful, as they tag a lot. And if you end up making glorious beauties you could always post them to comicbook_icons /shameless self-pimp
