Thank you so much! I know the feeling,I love it too,seeing so many people watch and icon BLs. It's mainly because older BL dramas were...more of problematic themes and rarely did the characters or relationships get time to develop,so everything felt rushed and not really good. New BL dramas focus a lot more on the relationship for a longer time and I think that's why we end up liking them so much. :D
I think budget was a problem for BL dramas ,now with increasing budget that comes with the increasing popularity of the genre it is possible to write more wholesome and comprehensive stories and character arcs . Because increased budget also means more side characters and lengthier episodes which makes it possible to write character growths.
OOHH!That totally makes sense. :D And I'm glad they're choosing to adapt the better stories these days. AAHHH!There are so many mangas that I like and would love to see in anime form,but drama is also very much welcome!XD
