Halsey's new album and movie really captivated me and helped me out during 2021.


Despite being a fan of Star Wars since I was 4 I didn't become obsessed till 2021. It took up most of my time and got me back into writing.


Genya Safin from Shadow and Bone. I read the Grishaverse books while I had pneumonia, and Genya became my favorite character. I'm even planning on getting one of her quotes tattooed on my thigh. I relate to her so much.


I opened up 2021 with watching Lucifer, and the show had so many wonderful messages for me, and watching Mazikeen and Eve fall in love and get married was a highlight. As a queer woman, it was so beautiful to watch them onscreen.


As for 2022, I'm stoked for the Kenobi show! Ewan McGregor really puts a lot into the character of Obi-Wan Kenobi.
