hello, this is my first entry at this comm. I don`t do icons on a regular base, that`s why the "no more than 5 icons" rule works just perfect for me ;D

These icons are for "Justified", they focus on Raylan, and his *other* side

Ah and I'm glad you like the concept of the community. I thought it was brilliant as well - laisserais being the true brain behind it all - which is why I dragged it on over here from lj. Five is a perfect amount for when you don't feel like making a whole bunch , or if you want to spotlight the favorites from your latest batch/year/technique/etc.

Thank you! I`m not an icon maker, not for real anyway , so to read you like them, that mean a lot!

I usually play with animations/gifs, that`s why the idea of only a few icons per entry works just perfect for me. From time to time I need to do something else beside the animations, but I never do that many icons in a row.

ah well, animated icons are a weakness of mine. I don´t use photoshop for my animations, this is why I`m having problems to keep them under the size limit

but, I take this as a challenge to get it (finaly) done ;D

I've only ever made one animated icon *points* so i know how difficult it can be. A frame, or going bw seems to be a popular solution though. Oh, and on Tumblr some seem to mask part of their GIFs so they don't move, to limit the size. not sure if that trick works in ps or not though...

yeah, there seem to be several ways on how to get a decent animated icon. It almost never works with Corel`s PaintShopPro, that`s the program I`m using. The size is always too big. Now I`ve tried PSP 9 in combination with Photoshop. I`ve played with some settings, and managed to get a few done ;D
